1. The following materials will be used in the contest: • A) 1/4 Illustration Board (to be provided by the LCR) • B)Coloring material: oil pastel/craypas, oil paints, crayons, coloring pens, markers, ink, mixed media, oil, acrylic and water color (to be provided by the contestant) • 2. All posters must be done on the spot and must be completed within the allotted time of four (4) hours from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. • 3. No other identifying marks will be allowed to appear in the posters as it is on the spot contest. 4. The posters will be judged according to the following criteria:
• a) Content (50%) – Relevance to the theme,
accuracy of data. • b) Focus (25%) – Clarity of the topic presented and the complementation of the illustration to the topic. • c) Visual appeal and creativity (25%) – Aesthetics (color scheme, neatness, design composition) and originality of the poster design. 5. Declaration of winner
• Top three (3) posters will
be chosen. A prize and certificate will be given to the respective winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
