    Racing

    Our Goal
    Implement modern automation technologies into
    go-karts and to learn more about driverless cars.
    What we do
    ● Design and build Electric Go-karts
    ○ Driver Controlled Kart
    ○ Autonomous Kart
    This semester:

    ● Autonomous car
    ○ Code for AI self driving using NVIDIA Jetson TX2
    and LiDAR / RealSense sensors (software)
    ○ Implement vehicle control systems (electrical)
    ○ Design mounting brackets / adapters for vehicle
    (mechanical)
    This semester:
    ● Manned car
    ○ Configure and calibrate sensors
    ○ Install driver display for better driving experience
    Events
    ● Karting Trips
    ○ Karting facilities in Indianapolis
    ○ Lots of fun!

    ● Track days
    ○ Go out and test out kart on the track
    ○ Meet and network with other electric vehicle
    teams
