Introduction
• The purpose of this association is to open up a staff restaurant with a
common goal of promoting staff welfare while serving the potential clients.
• This is a group of hospital staff who have come together to operate a
restaurant in the hospital as they supplement their salary.
• The best interests of this union is to offer affordable services to both
patients, attendants and hospital staff
• Membership is by registration and the staffs financial contribution which will
be a one off contribution
• This investment club shall be registered legally once the membership
composition is finalised
Objective of the staff club
• To bring hospital staff together with a common objective of social
association
• To have a good return on the investment
• To invest as a group for a common interest

Contributions by the members
• We expect membership of 15 staff with an annual contribution of Two
Million shillings.
• We expect full contributions and as it will agreed this will be used to
raise the required capital of UGX 30,000,000.
• 2,000,000 X 15 members =30,000,000/-
• Each member will be refunded back their Two Million contribution
from the profits raised within an estimated period of 1 year.
• The contribution is to be used as capital and to meet all the
operational costs required to operate the restaurant
Business Registration

• The plan is to have this business registered legally with URSB.


• A legally binding constitution shall be developed to guide the running
of the business and as well protection the interests of the subscribed
members.
Profit Benefits
• The profits shall be distributed to all members monthly after all
members have been repaid their initial contribution of Two Million
Shillings.
• The amount of profits shared shall be determined by the business
collection/ sales in a given period of time
Note: All books of accounts shall be regularly audited by a hired auditor
Quarterly
Validity of Membership
• Members of all registered members shall be valid for a period of 3 years.
• In the event of transfer of staff he/ she shall continue to be a member for three years.
Renewal upon interest of the staff.
• In the event of death of a staff, history family next of kin shall benefit from the
investment club until end of the contract period and there after the staff is replaced.
• Those who wish to join shall be expected to make a contribution of Two Million
shillings
• Those who wish to withdrawn from the club shall only benefit from 1 years profit pay.
He/She shall be paid t expected to notify the team in writing within One months time
• All members are entitled to recovery of their Two Million capital investment
Business Costs
• Construction of a restaurant shed @10,000,000
• Purchase of chairs 20 and tables 25@ 5,000,000
• Purchase of 3 dozens of plates, 2 dozens of cups, 10 pieces of
assorted saucepans, 4 large cooking stoves, serving ladles 1 dozen, 2
dozens of forks, 2 dozens of spoons, Half dozens of tea spoons, 4 big
flasks, 6 serving dishes, 2 dozen of trays etc @7,000,000
• Purchase of food stuff, sugar, salt, condiments, charcoal, tea leaves etc
@ 3,000,000/-
• Other operational costs 5,000,000
