Marine & HSSE Function

Current Primary Duties

1. Implementation and Monitoring all ISM/ ISPS & MLC
i) 11 Vessels Audits Spread across the year. (This will include the following up of all NCR Close Out)
ii) Document Control (tracking on all documents to ensure currency)
iii) Monitoring and Updating Leading and Lagging Indicator
- Accident & Incident Investigation
- Drills and Safety Meeting
- Master’s SMS/ SSP Review
2. Navigation Audit
11 Vessels Audits Spread across the year. . (This will include the following up of all observation/ findings Close Out)

3. OCIMF SIRE/ BIRE/ TMSA

i) 11 Vessels Audits Spread across the year.
ii) SIRE 6 monthly and BIRE Annually (This will include the following up of all NCR Close Out)
iii) All close out on observations and findings are to be referred to the SIRE TERMINAL & FSC Analysis spreadsheet.
iv) Updating the HVPQ within the OCIMF Website

4. Maintaining Vessel Certificate

i) Digitalport (Updating Certificates in the MPA digitalport). This is done at every renewal of certificates
a) Annual Survey
b) Insurance Certificates
c) Hull and Machinery
d) Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage (CLC)
e) Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage (CLBC)
f) All Class Certificates
g) Continuous Synopsis Record

ii) Safe Keeping and Monitoring of all Trading Certificates

5. Training & Mentoring Ship’s Crew and Officers
i) Prepare Training Program, Slides, and scheduling
ii) Monitoring and reporting on Masters’ performance

6. Marine & Cargo Operation

i) All Marine advise for all Vessels
- Cargo Operations (Loading/ Discharging (STS, Floater, Terminal)
- Ensure Navigational Equipment are operational
- Charts & Publications are up to date
ii) Shipboard Visit (assessment of the general condition of the vessel)
iii) Updating information in the Q88 (at least every 3 month)
iv) Liaison with Operations Department on Cargo Related matters
v) Charts and Publications requisition & approval
vi) LSA & FFA servicing (Includes arranging and requisition)
vii) Port State & Flag State Control

Others Duties (unrelated)

1. Equipment Services and Certificate Monitoring
i) Safe Keeping, Monitoring of all Equipment Certificates. In Addition, arranging for the repair services and Testing of equipment for the certificate renewal.
ii) Liaison with external parties (shipping agency) on renewal of Ship Sanitation and Druggist
iii) Fabrication of Reducer
