1. Introduction

• Heat effects on human body during

summer

Rapid rises in heat gain due to

exposure to hotter than average
conditions compromises the body's
ability to regulate temperature and can
result in a cascade of illnesses,
including heat cramps, heat
exhaustion, heatstroke, and
hyperthermia
2. Concept of smart solar
jacket
We 1seen that excessive heat to our body can lead heat 3
cramps, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and hyperthermia that’s
why we came with our smart jacket that have peltier cell
inside it cause of these cells we can make the interior
temperature of jacket as compatible that we can survive
excessive heat from sun and in other situations.

And not just that our smart solar jacket will have the
Bluetooth module which will help for communication and
not just that our jacket will have the GPS module which will
help to trace the location of the jacket owner our if its lost
we can see the location and also a temperature sensing unit
which will give us information about the outside
temperature as well as inner jacket temperature.
3. What is peltier cell and peltier
effect
A Peltier cell is an electrothermal device that allows to generate cold
from electrical current. This acts as a solid state heat pump, or what is
the same, allows to be transferred from acold focus to a hot one,
generating an opposition to the temperature gradient.

In 1834 a French physicist named Jean Charles Athanase Peltier disc

overed that passing current through two dissimilar metals could create
either a rise or fall in temperature at the junction of the two metals.

Peltier experimented with wires made of copper and bismuth. He

found that when current flowed from copper to bismuth heat
would be generated at the junction. He also found that the reverse was
true, when the current flowed between bismuth and copper
the junction grew colder. This phenomenon became known as the
Peltier Effect.
4. Working of peltier cells
with solar panels

• In our smart there will be serial

connection of solar panels what
will give us energy so that our
peltier cells and other modules
will work.

• There will be a connection of

panels and batteries for energy
storage and from there there will
be a connection of peltier cells
and batteries and other modules.
5. Conceptual diagram of peltier cooling
module
6. Bluetooth This Bluetooth module`s name is VHM-314
Bluetooth Audio Receiver board Bluetooth 5.0
module mp3 and it has led indicator that indicates that
wether the battery is connected or is module off
or on.

• In this Bluetooth module there is a 3.5mm

dual channel headphone jack that we`re
going to use to connect our headphones to it.

• And it has a USB power port to connect

charger to our module

• We`re going to implement this Bluetooth

module in our smart solar jacket.
7 . How GPS unit will
work.
The GPS module is sending position
data to node MCU.
The node MCU is connected to the
Internet using wifi so it sending data
to Blynk server. Now the user
receives the position data via blynk
app.

the Blynk app Not only shows the

latitude & longitude data
it also shows the position on Google
map of the GPS module
• Actual GPS module
circuit diagram.LM2596 DC-DC Adjustable Buck Step Down Module
Esp 8266 node MCU( Lolin)
NEO 6M v2 GPS module

The NEO-6M GPS module has four pins: VCC, RX, TX,

and GND. The module communicates with the Esp 8266
node MCU( Lolin)
via serial communication using the TX and RX pins, so the
wiring couldn’t be simpler

The LM2596 DC-DC adjustable buck step down module

reduces the voltage according to the desired manner means
we want 3v supply to ESP node 8266 mcu so it reduces the
12v to 3v if we set voltage in it
8. Temperature sensing
unit. By following the Fritzing schematic above,
plug the LCD in the breadboard and then
connect it to the Arduino board with jumpers.
After that plug the potentiometer and the
sensor in the breadboard, connect the left and
the right pins of the pot to ground and +5V and
the middle one to the LCD display.

Then connect the sensor to ground and to

+5V and to the Arduino but be very carefully,
because if you connect it wrong the sensor will
heat up to 280+ C (540 F) and might get
damaged. Once you have connected everything
move on the next step that will be arudino
programming.

project
10. Conclusion
 So at the end of this project we will build a jacket that will have a Bluetooth
module,a temperature sensing unit a GPS unit and main a peltier cooling module

 We will add more ideas eventually in this project.

Thank you
