elimination of violence against women.

organizations, and the private sector to promote policy and legislative reforms that
address gender inequality and to support women’s participation in politics and
public life. UN Women also provides technical assistance and capacity building
support to governments and civil society organizations to advance gender equality
and women’s empowerment.
