I am a good artist but, I want to get better. I love to paint. This year, I will leave
my old school and attend a special school for the arts. I will miss my friends
but, I want to become a great artist, Ella Goodman. I cannot wait until school
starts!

What is point of View?

Point of view is the angle where the story is


told.
• The writer’s choice of point of view sets the
amount of information that a reader is given.
• A writer may opt to shift points of view within
his or her story. This is usually done when the
writer wishes to change the reader’s
perspective throughout the story.
