FASTAG
 The National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) program
launched by NPCI in December 2016
 Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH)
had mandated the use of NETC FASTag for toll
payments w.e.f 15th February 2021
 NHAI / IHMCL (Indian Highways Management
Company Limited)are the program managers for NETC
payment system who administer the infrastructure,
set rules, fees and conduct audits of the Plazas
acquired and onboarded by them
 FASTAG
 Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) technology is used
 Bank has tied up with M/s Brontoo Technologies solutions India Pvt Ltd for
providing end to end fastag solution
 Customer can apply Fastag through branch, Bank’s website, Mobile
Banking(pre-login)
 At the time of issuance of Fastag, customer is required to pay Rs.100/-
(including GST) and courier charges Rs.72/-
 Fastag overdrive from 15.10.2022 to 15.01.2023- Fastag will be issued at
the rate of Rs.50/-(including GST)
 Validity period of fastag- 5 years. In case the Tag Account remains
unused for a period of 6 months with insufficient balance amount,
the Tag Account will be closed with prior intimation to the Tag
Member
 FASTAG
 "Concessionaire" refers to the person/entity that has been granted the right to
construct, maintain, and toll the Highway by the National Highways Authority of
India.
 “Service Provider Solution” shall mean the solution with the name Osta
 For each Bank account there can be more than 1 Tag linked.
 The Tag is not transferable
 Amount will be debited from account in T+1 days
 The linked bank account to Tag cannot be changed once application is made by
customer
 If the Tag is lost or stolen, the Tag Member must file a report with the local
police and should be able to produce a copy of the police report upon request by
Bank. The Tag Member must immediately report the loss/ theft over the
telephone to the Customer Care and /or lodge a complaint. Customer Care shall,
upon adequate verification, hotlist/ cancel/ suspend the Tag
 SECURITY CHARGES
 As refundable Security deposit, Rs. 200 will be
debited form Customer account and will be
parked in BGL FASTag Security Deposit
