PINOY HIPHOP
In music, it also referred as Pinoy Rap, it is the
fusion of hip hop in local dialects and hip-hop
beat.
Philippines is the pioneer in hip hop music in
Asia.
In dance, it is the fusion of traditional dances to
hip hop moves and beat.

PINOY POP
Pinoy Pop (P-pop): Originating from OPM.
From 2010 to 2020, Philippine pop music or Pinoy
pop went through a huge metamorphosis in its
increased quality, budget, investment and variety,
matching the country's rapid economic growth, and an
accompanying social and cultural resurgence of its
Asian identity.
PINOY ROCK
 It has become as diverse as the rock music genre
itself, and bands adopting this style are now further
classified under more specific genres or combinations
of genres like alternative rock, post-grunge, ethnic,
new wave, pop rock, punk rock, funk, reggae, heavy
metal, ska, and recently, indie.
MANILA SOUND
 EMMERGED DURING THE 70S
The Manila sound is styled as catchy and melodic,
smooth, lightly orchestrated, accessible folk/soft rock,
sometimes fused with funk, light jazz and disco.

 Rama Hari and Rock of Aegis are two of the most
popular Filipino Musicals of today.
They usually feature popular Filipino music and
focuses on either the very colorful culture and history
of the country and of social issues.

 Benedicto Cabrera is arguably the best-selling painter
of his generation of Filipino artists.
 In 2006, the Philippine Government conferred upon
him the Order of National Artist for Visual Arts.
