■ The viking were tough fighteres with angry faces,but they were not uncivilized.The
viking migration only reached Scandinavia from a distance.
■ The vikings had their own culture and religion,but due to climatic
circumstances ,they were forced to retrat from they homes in search of wealth
across the ocean.
■ The viking wore helmets with two horns on their heads.
The vikings society did not only have a warlike side.
The vikings were also marchants and colonists.
■ Viking women were noticed in the colonization process
of the new territories(Faroe Islands,Iceland and
Greeland).The viking population could only be
estabilished if the vikings traveled with their wives.
■ The courage and cruelty of the vikings in bettle are wele known,but they also had
peaceful occupations,such as trade and colonization.
■ According to archaeological sources,the vikings believed in several gods and that the
world had 9 planets.
