CHARACTERS
• Aladdin is portrayed as quick-witted and an
ultimately a caring person he is a heroic young
man who seeks to win the affection of many other
characters, which demonstrates his insecurity.

• Jasmine is incredibly independent and strong, she

isn't afraid to speak up her mind, no matter who she's
up against, and won't hesitate to stand up for what's
right. She is extremely compassionate and caring
towards her kingdom, family, and friends.
• Abu is a talented kleptomaniac, with unshakable
urges to steal whatever catches his interests, be it
riches, food, or anything else. This can land him
into quite a bit of trouble and appears to even
frustrate Aladdin from time to time.

• Rajah is known for being  aggressive, quarrelsome,

bloodthirsty, and intolerable, as he takes a disliking
to anyone who annoys Jasmine, even slightly
including narcissistic suitors, Prince Ali, and even
the Sultan. However, when it comes to Jasmine, Rajah
is docile and gentle.
• Jafar is a manipulative, deceitful, and very pompous.
Masterful liar who has smooth-talked his way to the
top, with the help of a little magical mind control.
When he's not putting on a polite public face, Jafar is
spiteful, abusive, and quick to anger.

• Iago is a sarcastic, loud-mouthed, and short-

tempered parrot that served as Jafar's sidekick
during the latter's attempt to rule Agrabah. Iago's
primary obsessions are riches and power, which
coupled with his disdain for the Sultan's crackers
motivated his villainous deeds.
• Sultan is described as being pompous but kind, he
seems to be somewhat childish, as he’s often seen
playing with various toys. Though he dearly loves
Jasmine, he is initially frustrated due to her constant
rejection of potential suitors and pushes her to choose
a husband.

•Genie of the Lamp has a very happy, fun-loving

character and is rarely seen without a big smile on
his face. He often likes to crack jokes, in his
impersonations or other forms and does this in
serious conversations to help ease any tension.
• Magic Carpet, It is genderless, but is often
assumed to be male by Genie and other
characters. It is playful, as it reacts with Abu,
intelligent, as it beats Genie at chess and most
other things, and helpful.

• Prince Achmed is shown to be selfish, heartless,

unkind, and snobbish. Jasmine herself described
him as overdressed and self-absorbed. He cares little
for people he perceives to be lesser than him. While
Achmed was one of many princes attempting to win
Jasmine's hand in marriage
Settings

The Cave Of Agrabah’s Agrabah

Wonders Market place Palace
The story actually takes place in
the fictional Arabian city named
Agrabah. It surrounding are
mostly desert like, the peddler
begins the intro of the movie
singing.
Where the caravan camels roam.
Where it's flat and immense and
the heat is intense it's barbaric,
but hey, it's home.
WHAT IS THE CLIMAX IN THE STORY
“ALADDIN”?

The climax is when Aladdin escapes death at

the end of the earth and flies back on the
magic carpet to get the lamp back from Jafar.
Despite their best efforts, Jafar is merely
amused and transform himself into a giant
snake and starts to crush Aladdin even
though Aladdin successfully escaped.
WHAT IS THE CONFLICT IN “ALADDIN”?
INTERNAL CONFLICT
 Aladdin is struggling to become accepted by the people and to have a better
life for himself as well as for his partner Abu.
 The Genie tells Aladdin that he has been trap for thousands of years and the
only way to get free is to be wished free by his master. This causes a conflict in
“Aladdin” because he has to choose between getting the girl or freeing his
friend.
EXTERNAL CONFLICT
 Aladdin wants to be with Jasmine but isn’t a prince.

 When Aladdin became a prince he then starts to take advantage of his friends
causing him and the Genie to get in a fight. This fight allows Jafar to step in
and take control of Genie when Aladdin is not paying attention.
WHAT ARE THE LIFE LESSONS THAT WE
CAN LEARN FROM THE ALADDIN MOVIE?
 Both Aladdin and Jasmine thought us to be who we are. Be
yourself, don’t try to be someone else or to conform to what
others perceive us to be. Be who you are meant to be and live
your life with honesty.
 You must believe in yourself always, even more so when others
doubt you and discourage you. Also remember, even Walt
Disney himself was repeatedly discouraged by others time and
time again, yet he believed in his dreams and he believed in
himself. After all, diamonds are produced from the same
minerals like coal although you’re not yet fully polished, you’re
still a diamond in the rough.
 Aladdin taught us the importance of friendship both good
and bad for like the sultan who learned the hard way that not
all friends can be trusted such as with Jafar. The sultan put all
his trust in him only to have him betray him. However,
Aladdin showed what true friendship really was when he set
the Genie free with his last wish and chooses friendship over
material possessions.
 It’s not what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside that
counts so no matter how much money, power, or even a genie
you will never be satisfied with life or happy with who you are
until you accept it and become content with who you are and
where you’re at in life.
And this is where our
group’s presentation
ends.
