“Issue a license” thể hiện Ơ “cấp giấy phép”, ngược lại revoke a license là

In fact – in truth – in reality – actually : thật ra, trên thực tế, sự thật
 A variety of : đa dạng
Ex: this store offers a variety of electronic items.
 As a result of : do kết quả của, vì…
Ex: the company’s quality standards went down as a result of the
increase in new, untrained workers
= as a consequence of – because of – owing to – due to
 At a discount : hạ giá, giảm giá
Ex: We bought these car parts at a discount.
Khi thể hiện vật nào đó được giảm giá dùng giới từ on
Ví dụ: a discount on books
= Offer/give sb a discount: giảm giá cho ai
Discount price: giá chiết khấu
Discount store: cửa hàng giảm giá
 At sb’s expense: bằng mồ hôi nước mắt của ai đó
Ex: it’s not funny. You’re making the joke at your son’s expense.
Cụm từ này còn thể hiện: “chi tiền của ai đó”, dạng câu thường dùng là
“do sth at sb’s expense”
At the expense of sb/sth: do ai/ việc gì chịu phí tổn.
Attract criticism : gây chỉ trích
ex: if the company doesn’t support environmental initiatives, it
will attract criticism
Take/accept criticism: chấp nhận bình phẩm/phê bình.
Attract one’s attention : thu hút sự chú ý.
Có thể thay thế attract bằng catch, get.
Bring sth to sb’s attention: làm cho ai chú ý
Pay attention to: chú ý, quan tâm
