    "These are garments that were


    smuggled into the country in the
    late 1980s or were brought in by
    middle and upper-middle-class
    families who began traveling to the
    United States at the time.
    These garments, which are usually allusive to
    American sports teams, the Looney Tunes, or
    both, earned the status (and price) that today
    accompanies them.

    what it?
    Old Guard means that these garments (like the
    people who collect them) were conceived
    between the late 80s and early 90s.
    Dangers
    There are people who do not allow themselves
    to buy one of these garments for its high value
    and the method that they go to is the theft of
    these, causing in most cases personal injuries or
    worse homicides.
    Prejudices of the people

    Collectors are aware of the stigma of 'ñero'


    that comes with their coveted clothes, because
    much of society do not have well seen these
    presses and associate them with bandalos
    because they do not know their history.
