INTRODUCTION
• A Battery Management System (BMS), which
manages the electronics of a rechargeable battery,
whether a cell or a battery pack, thus becomes a
crucial factor in ensuring electric vehicle safety. It
safeguards both the user and the battery by
ensuring that the cell operates within its safe
operating parameters.
OBJECTIVE
• A good battery gives an electric vehicle the power to traverse long distances
without any tension. But when upgraded with next-gen technology such as IoT and
AI the entire system is bound to become even more enhanced.
• The condition of the batteries must be constantly monitored during their use. For
this, battery users and manufacturers develop battery management systems
(BMS). When batteries are used outside the desired limits (overcharged or over
discharged), they are damaged.
• The battery health status provides the user with information about the life of the
battery and informs the user about when to replace the relevant battery.

RESULTS
Here we measure voltage, current, temperature and humidity during both charging and discharging is first
transmitted in real-time to the cloud, where the system uses algorithms based on IOT to evaluate the data.
CONCLUSION
• We can monitor the battery condition through the IOT using android
phone.
• We can monitor the future distance coverage.
• A BMS enhances the life span of the battery cell in EVs.
• It provides stability and reliability.
• This is an effective system to measure and control the cell’s voltage.
• It monitors the battery cells constantly to avoid the occurrence of
failure or explosion.
• It forecasts the battery pack’s capabilities in the near future.
