Handling Human Relations Problems
18
Change the situation. If you have a problem
getting along with the person or people you
work with, you can try to change the situation
by working with another person or other
people. You may tell your boss you cannot work
with so and so because of a personality conflict
and ask for a change in jobs.
19
Change yourself. In many situations, your
own behavior is the only thing you can
control. In most human relations problems,
the best alternative is to examine the other
party’s behavior and try to understand why
they are doing and saying the things they are
behaving the way you are. In most cases the
logical choice is to change your own behavior.
