    • Sometimes we need environments where the WFE or Database
    servers from our Farm have been installed using the FQDN in
    SharePoint. Some customers use this kind of nomenclature
    and in order to reproduce a bug or just for a test scenario we
    need to learn how to rename our servers farm into FQDN.
    • For this example we will rename the ‘A-SP10-WFE1’ server
    farm to ‘A-SP10-F-WFE1.DOMA.LOCAL’
    Identify the ID Server from SQL.
    Change the Server name to FQDN.
    Review the name for the WFE
    Server.
    Review the Server Name on
    Central Administration.
