“A case study in regards to

creating a coffee menu in java”

GROUP 3
- James Edward Matias
- Nathaniel Felipe
- Beaver Andrei Molina
- Christian Joseph Guillasper
I.
-INTRODUCTION
As a group, we originally decided on selecting a group of
topics, but the final topic was decided to be the derivation
of the code implemented in C++. The hurdles encountered
upon making the project are the dissemination of the code
into Java from the machine code of C++, but regarding
experience, we are still learning as a group in creating this
project.

-The brief overview of the project is that it's a simple

coffee shop menu derived from our CC103 development
code, which we are implementing. Our aim is to create a
simple coffee shop menu that gives a selection and also
gives additional information to further improve upon the
said topic.
II. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

* PLANNING - In regards to how the planning stage flowed

accordingly a group meeting in which the members of the
group concluded in a brainstorming portion on how we can
take breaking down and dissemination of the source code
given, the cafe Scamsbucks in which the group favored
keeping the project in the funnier demeanor.
II. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

* ANALYSIS - In the following meetings the code was broken

down into segments and the group members each took a part
in which some focused on the coding aspects and others took
aspects in helping others debug certain issues which arose.
II. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

* DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING - In this regard, we

brainstormed how the program would look on the terminal and
how it would be when users interacted with the said program,
and in the latter half of development, some debugging and re-
writing of code to match the program better and make the
code much easier to understand which the assigned script
writer mostly type the codes and people watch over them and
point out errors.
II. PROJECT DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

* IMPROVEMENTS AND UPGRADES - The code is very

rudimentary and simple some have Graphical interphases and
interactable content for the user to see and which the program
can be further improved upon in regards to the coding-end
also further upon the subject point the menu can be further
improved with combinations of orders or improvements in the
addition of specials or certain times of day for the clients to
view.

V. PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE USED WITH
EXPLANATION

Java is a widely used object-oriented programming language

and software platform that runs on billions of devices, including
notebook computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles, medical
devices and many others. The rules and syntax of Java are based
on the C and C++ languages.
