Stolby Nature Reserve

Stolby Nature Reserve, a nature reserve, is

located in Siberia, 10 km south of
Krasnoyarsk, in the northwestern part of the
Eastern Siberian Mountains.

The reserve is famous for its striking rock

formations, consisting of picturesque
orthogonal rocks and the surrounding rocky
landscape, and the park covers an area of
47,219 hectares. The park's famous Wild
Stonehenge, Manskaya Stenka and
Manskaya Baba are amazing!

Although the park is only partially open,

there are still many cliffs, rock faces, caves
and rocky hills for hikers to explore, and the
park is full of wildlife - a true paradise for
nature lovers.
Yakutia, Sakha Republic
Yakutia, Sakha Republic, is probably one of the coldest regions
of Russia, cold but very beautiful! Yakutia, located in the
Russian Far East, bordering most of Siberia, is the largest
administrative region of the Russian Federation and the largest
administrative unit in the world, the size of five French
territories.

The natural conditions and natural resources of Yakutia are quite

diverse, with 2/3 of the territory being mostly mountains and
plateaus, and the remaining 1/3 being lowland landscapes. The
rivers and lakes are also the most numerous in Russia: there are
700,000 rivers of all sizes, more than 800,000 lakes, and the
total length of rivers is almost 2 million kilometers.

The territory is rich in virgin forests, tundra, forest tundra and

Arctic wilderness. The best time to visit the region is from mid-
April to September, when winters are cold and long.
The Kamchatka Peninsula
The Kamchatka Peninsula is a sparsely
populated area, the only one in Russia
covered by volcanoes and geothermal heat.
The Kamchatka Peninsula is 1,250
kilometers long and covers an area of about
472,300 square kilometers.

The Thousand Islands Trench, which

separates the peninsula from the Pacific
Ocean, is 10,500 meters deep, and the
Kamchatka Volcanic Complex is an
important Russian World Heritage Site. The
peninsula is surrounded by lakes, rivers,
seas and oceans and is so windy that in
spring and summer you can see a beautiful
active volcano surrounded by ice. The
peninsula is also home to the "Valley of
Death", a rugged, rocky valley surrounded
by mountains on three sides, with only one
side open to the outside, where the bones of
wildlife are strewn across the landscape.
The Elbrus Mountain
The Ural Mountains are one of the oldest
mountain ranges on Earth. It was formed during
the Carboniferous period, when what is today
Siberia was a separate continent, and it collided
with a part of the then Pangaea, which is today
Europe, to form the Ural Mountains. To this day
Europe and Siberia are still connected, and the
mountain range is a huge natural border between
Asia and Europe.
The mountain range is also a north-south
mountain range in Russia. The natural landscape
of the mountain range is truly picturesque and
includes numerous caves, hills, lakes, rivers and
forests. The forested area of the Ural Mountains
is also the birthplace of the Uralic-speaking
peoples, and the mountain range is the
watershed between the Volga and Urals rivers
and the Ob River basin on the eastern slope. It is
interesting to note that the fish living in the
eastern and western rivers are different: salmon
in the western rivers have a red glow, while
Mark's sturgeon and Orton in the eastern rivers
are silvery white.
Baikal Lake
Baikal Lake is undoubtedly the
largest, oldest, clearest and deepest
lake on earth. Baikal Lake is known
as the "Pearl of Siberia" and is one of
the most well-known attractions in
the country. The land is widely
known for Li Jian's "Baikal Lake"
and the beautiful photos of blue ice
on the Internet.
Lake Baikal is a continental rift
valley lake inhabited by more than
1,700 species of animals and plants,
and two-thirds of them are endemic.
In summer, Baikal's shores are full of
forests and mountains. In winter, the
most beautiful season of Baikal is
when the lake starts to freeze and the
water is so clear that the ice is
transparent. When the sunlight
refracts the ice, it glows blue, which
is very beautiful! This is an
unforgettable sight to see.
