Objective:

This experiment aims to determine whether


the samples of common household materials
are acidic or basic.

Materials:

Vinegar Baking Soda


Calamansi Bleach
Coffee Milk
Fabric Softener Detergent
Tap Water Shampoo

10 petri dishes
Litmus Paper (Red and Blue)

Procedure:

1. Prepare all of the materials in the petri dish. For


powdery substance, dissolve it first in the water

2. Dip a piece of blue and red litmus paper in every


substances in the petri dish. Notice the change in color

3. Record your findings.
