INTRODUCTION
The work is limited to the modelling and analysis using ANSYS software
The work is restricted to the static structural analysis
Area of the specimens are kept constant for different shapes.

columns under axial
This paper is used to generate simulation data covering a wide range
compression
of parameters for circular and rectangular CFST stub columns under axial
compression.
Regression analysis is conducted to propose simplified models to
predict the compressive strength, the compressive stiffness, and the
compressive strain corresponding to the compressive strength
(ductility) for the composite columns.
Simplified models have been proposed for the predictions of
compressive stiffness and compressive strain corresponding to the
ultimate strength.

Analytical Behaviour of Ice Filled Tubular Stub Column
RESEARCH GAP
Most of the researches were based on square and circular ice filled steel tubular stub
column.
Hence, the behaviour of IFST stub columns is investigated by varying shapes, loading
condition, using different outer tube materials, corrugation etc.
The l shaped ice specimen has more load carrying capacity than other shapes.
The l shaped specimen shows 49.85% more load carrying capacity than t shaped
ice column.
All shapes shows almost same deformation.
