COORDINATING
 A conjunction which makes a
connection between two parallel words,
two parallel phrases, or independent
clauses is called a coordinating
conjunction. The coordinating
conjunctions are and, but, or, as well as,
for, so, yet, etc.
SUBORDINATING

Relationships of Time or Place. Another
function of subordinating conjunctions
is to show a relationship between two
clauses involving a transition of time or
place. Some examples of such
subordinating conjunctions are once,
while, when, whenever, where,
wherever, before, and after.
CORRELATIVE
 Correlativeconjunctions include pairs
such as “both/and,” “either/or,”
“neither/nor,” “not/but” and “not
only/but also.” For example: either/or -

chocolate cake. both/and - We'll have
