The Regional Science centre

The Regional Science Centre in Dehradun is a newly created science park

that educates as well as entertains visitors especially children.
It is a perfect tourist destination for school children to expand
their scope of knowledge. The science park includes
Dinosaurs Park, a Himalayan gallery, a 3D theater, a library,
a 200-seater auditorium and an exhibition hall.

Geology and Geophysics Museum , uttarakhand
The Geology and Geophysics Museum is located within the city of Roorkee. It is a very
interesting museum and a study center. The displays consist of various geographic
models and studies of the earth’s interior.
The study of rocks has been traced, with various kinds of rocks and mineral samples as
exhibits. One can see some of the rarest rock samples in the museum, including bending
sandstone. The museum also displays fossilized bones of elephants and fossil trees.
Specimens of rocks and minerals have been brought here from the Shivalik Mountains
which surround the town of Roorkee.
Lachhiwala Nature Park, Uttarakhand
Lachhi Wala has been renamed to Nature Park. Due to the river side picnic spot, lots of local tourists
come here over the weekend to take a bath. The picnic spot is very close to Jolly Grant Airport. The
picnic spot will come on the way from DehraDun to Haridwar or DehraDun to Rishikesh. The river
name on whose side this spot is located is Song River.
