My experience in SHISHU BIKASH KENDRO 
(RMCH)

Intruduction

• First shishu bikash kendro started in DMCH  in 1991 by Prof. Dr.

Nyla Zaman Khan,a child neurologist.Now it is spreaded over
Bangladesh in 15 medical college hospitals, under health
ministry.It is also providing services in Ma o Shishu Hashpatal in
Matuail, BIRDEM, SQUIRE hospital, Apollo hospital etc.
 Shishu bikash kendro serves all the children upto 18 years of
age – both normal and special.
OBJECTIVES        All the guardians are provided  information and explanation
   their childrens problems and requirements, present condition
and future doings.
 • IQ TEST – It is a total score derived from a set of
standerdized tests of subjects designed to asses human
intelligence. The term IQ is derived from the German term
INTRLLIGENZQUOTIENT. Score from IQ test is used for
SERVICES educational placement, assessment of intellectual
disability, evaluating job applicants etc.

CONCLUSION

• So CDC works for both physical and mental health development

of children.To fulfil these goals there are specially trained child
health physician, child psychologist and developmental
therapist.
