OUR BIG IDEA
The Serene Park Golf Course is located in the Bangalore
Outskirts district, which is rapidly expanding. This 18-hole
course offers a demanding challenge as well as
breathtaking views. A Pro Shop, driving range, cart barn,
maintenance facilities, and a pavilion with seating for up to
50 people are all on the property. An on-site snack bar will
be available at Serene Park Golf Course.

Requirements
Serene Park Golf Course will necessitate a significant amount of landscaping work. This
work will be completed in the three months leading up to the start of the course in January
(October-December). The following new equipment will also be purchased:
• Equipment for the Driving Range
• Maintenance Equipment for Greens and Landscapes
• Service of food The Snack Bar's Equipment
Thirty-six golf carts will also be leased to ensure that all members and guests have access to
transportation. The golf cart pool at Serene Park Golf Course will be maintained by a four-
person team.

Marketing Strategy Prestige Properties will sell Serene Park
Golf Course in its 4,000+ condo
apartments aggressively. Residents of
Prestige Properties will receive a 20%
discount on membership costs. The day
use charge will be reduced by 15% for
vacation visitors staying in Prestige
Properties' properties.
Serene Park Golf Course is included in
Prestige Properties' marketing materials. It
spends $300,000 on national advertising
each year.
Other golf courses have formed strategic
alliances with Serene Park. During the first
year, it will act as a purchasing conduit for
the Pro Shop goods while Serene Park
develops lines of credit with suppliers and
distributors. They'll also come in and
recommend players to Serene Park.

Sales Strategy
Serene Park Golf Course's sales approach is to aggressively increase market share among
locals and tourists.
Serene Park Golf Course will use the following pricing strategy:
• The cost of membership is $500 per year. Members will receive a 30 percent discount on
course use and a 20% discount on Pro Shop purchases.
• Day Use Fee: $50 (members $34) for 9 holes. The cost for 18 holes is $90 (members
$67).
The following Day Use Packages will be available at Serene Park Golf Course:
9 Holes: 3 days-$125, 7 days-$135, 10 days-$425, and 14 days-$595
18 Holes: 3 days-$243, 7 days-$567, 10 days-$765, 14 days-$1071.

Personnel Plan
We will be recruiting and training full-time personnel because Serene Park Golf Course is open all
year. We desire long-term staff, not seasonal workers, so unlike other golf courses, we will not hire
