FIVE PROGRAM/ ACTIVITIES

PROGRAM/ ACTIVITY:
1.Seminar/ Training Information Drive
Theme: We hear, We care, We act.
 GOAL: To educate all members of each
barangay on the importance of actively
participating in activities concerning the
preservation of the environment.
 RESOURCES NEEDED: Snack (biscuit,
jungle juice) from the BMP
 PEOPLE INVOLVE:
- BMP
- LGU-Bontoc
- Barangay Officials
- Representative from the community

VENUE: Area of each barangay (police

officers will be designated to lecture in the
different barangays).
 TIME FRAME:
1st Week - Alab, Balili, Gonogon,Dalican
2nd Week - Bontoc Ili, Poblacion, Calutit,
Tocucan, Samoki
3rd Week - Talubin, Bayyo, Can-eo
 4th Week - Mainit, Guina-ang, Maligcong
2. SPORT FEAST

 GOAL: To encourage the people of Bontoc in

showing their love/care for the environment
through their love of sports, as the winning
barangays will be recieving cleaning
materials/equipment.
 RESOURCES NEEDED:basketball,
volleyball ball and prizes (funds will be
solicited from the Provincial Governor.)

 PEOPLE INVOLVE:
BMP
community members (open category)
for both men and women
  VENUE: Bontoc Plaza
TIME FRAME: 2 months
3. Tree Planting Activity with the theme “ Trees for
community, Peace and Flame”
GOAL: To inculcate to everyone the
importance of preparing for the future
through “ planting trees in future events and
circumstances’’
 RESOURCES NEEDED:
Young trees to be planted (donated by the
DENR).
 PEOPLE INVOLVE:
BMP

 VENUE: Chata
 TIME FRAME:
 1st friday - ANHS
 2nd friday - MPGCHS
 3rd friday - ASMIS

4.POSTER AND SLOGAN-MAKING CONTEST
about safekeeping of the environment
 GOAL: To sharpen the knowledge and
encourage participation of the youth on how
they can help in safekeeping the
environment.
 RESOURCES NEEDED: The materials to be
used such as plywood and paints will be
provided by the PNP-Bontoc solicited from
the office of the congressman.
 PEOPLE INVOLVE:
 BMP
 Bontoc high school students
VENUE:
Schools in Bontoc

  TIME FRAME:
 1st friday - ANHS
 2nd friday - MPGCHS
 3rd friday - ASMIS and SVS
 4th friday - XIJEN
5. CLEAN-UP DRIVE
 GOAL: To maintain the cleanliness of each
barangay. This will be monitored by PNP-
Bontoc.
 RESOURCES NEEDED: Trashbags/cans provided
by the office of municipal mayor.
 PEOPLE INVOLVE: BMP,Brgy
officials and community

 VENUE: All barangays of Bontoc

 TIME FRAME:
1st week- start of clean up drive
2nd-4th - monitoring of maintenance.
AWARDING OF WINNERS
 GOAL: Winning barangay in each activity will
be given prices and certificates.
 RESOURCES NEEDED: The bubget for the
development of certificates and the prizes will
come from the 3k donation of each barangay.
 PEOPLE INVOLVE: Municipal Mayor, Governor,
Congressman,Brgy. Officials and winners from the
contested activites and games.
 VENUE: Bontoc Plaza
 TIME FRAME: Last week of the Month
 Republic of the Philippines
