The Prayer Life Of a Christian

Prayer – is for most part, an untapped

resource, an unexplored continent where
untold Treasure remains to be unearthened
Pray with persistence
Devote yourself to prayer

Luke 18:1
“Now He was telling them a parable to show them that at
all times they ought to pray not to lose Heart”
Luke 18:9
is where we find the promise that says

“Ask and it shall be given to you: seek and you shall find:
knock and it shall be opened to you” .
Keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking.
Jesus does not want us to give up in prayer,
He instructed us to be persistent.

It is a common temptation of Satan to make us give up the

reading of the word and prayer.
When our enjoyment is Gone . . .
as if it were of no use to read the scripture when
we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to
pray when we have no Spirit of Prayer

The Trust is that, in order to enjoy the word we

ought to continue to read it. And the way to
obtain a spirit of prayer is to continue praying.
THE LESS WE READ THE WORD OF GOD
THE LESS WE DESIRED TO READ IT
and
THE LESS WE PRAY,
THE LESS WE DESIRE TO PRAY
II. Pray with Passion
Pagnanasa – sa Bisaya Gugma.
And every time we see Jesus praying, He was
praying with passion. . .

Mateo 3:13
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be
baptized by John

at his Baptism – while He was praying the Heaven

was opened, Passionate prayer open’s Heaven
Luke 23:24
And Pilate gave his decision for their desire to be put
into effect.

As He Hung on the cross a life that is lived in

passionate prayer will enabled us to maintain the
spirit, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
Prayer from the Heart, that’s what passionate prayer is . . .
It is Prayer from the Heart not just from the Head
III. Pray with Thankfulness
Paul never fails to mention it . . .
Ephesians 5:20-21
Giving praise at all times for all things in the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father;

nga sa kanunay magpasalamat kamo sa Dios Amahan tungod

sa tanang mga butang, sa ngalan sa atong Ginoong Jesu-
Cristo.

Tells us that thanksgiving is the natural result of

being filled with walking under the influence of the
Holy Spirit
IV. Pray making intercession

Intercessions prayer is basically praying for

others, it is praying for God’s will to be done in the
lives of other people

Luke 22:23
And they were wondering among themselves which of
them it was who would do this thing.

Jesus tells Peter “ I have prayed for you, that your

faith may not fail.
IV. Pray making intercession

Luke 23:34
And Jesus said, Father, let them have forgiveness, for
they have no knowledge of what they are doing. And they made
division of his clothing among them by the decision of chance.

Unya si Jesus miingon, "Amahan, pasayloa sila, kay

wala sila makasabut sa ilang ginabuhat." Ug ilang giripahan
ang iyang mga bisti aron sa pagbahinbahin niini.

Jesus was praying for others when He said “Father

forgive them for they do not know what they are
doing.
IV. Pray making intercession

John 14:15

If you have love for me, you will keep my laws.

Jesus interceded for us, asjubg the father to send

theHly Spirit
More Soul’s To
come to Jesus
