The system was designed to help the librarian, record every book transaction so that the problem,
file missing will not happen again.
This system helps both the admin and the user to keep a constant track of all the books available
in the library. It allows both to search for the desired book.
It’s mandatory for libraries to keep a continuous check on the books issued and returned and even
calculate fine. This task if carried out manually will be tedious and includes the chances of
mistakes.
Thus, this system reduces manual work to great extent allows smooth flow of library activities
by removing the chances of errors in the details.
User has separate Departments, user can choose their department and books. It will show
available Library Books and its details.
The user can select the required books and place the order in the application developed.
Immediately, the notification is received to the admin about the order placed.

Initially, the entire library was managed manually which was a big burden for the admin who
manages the whole library as a single person.
The details and particulars of the books are hand written by the admin and maintained
properly which sometimes leads to mistakes.
The user must search for the required book manually by directly going to the library.
DRAWBACKS :
Updates of the books issued or returned back are written manually.
The user must directly go to the library and search for the book.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The application provides the details of the books available in the library.
The information of the user such as user id, user name, residential address, contact number are
updated when the user logs in the application for the first time.
Once the user logs in the application at least once then it’s not purpose to log in each and every
time the user uses the application.
The user can pay the previous fine when the book is delivered.
BENEFITS:
The details of the books available is seen by the user at any place.
The books are delivered at the home for the user at the desired destination.

MODULE DESCRIPTION
ADMIN:
Admin is the one who administers the system by adding or removing books in the database.
USER LOGIN:
User have to register themselves into the system to create an account. After a successful registration,
they can login into the system by entering their mobile number and e-mail id.
ADD AND UPDATE BOOK:
The admin can add books to the system by entering the details of the book and can even update the
details.
SEARCH OPTION:
User can even search for the books by entering the name of the book.
VIEW ORDER:
The admin can view order for the books.
PLACE ORDER:
The user can place the order for the book and simultaneously the quantity of the book order will
be decremented.
CALCULATE FINE:
The user can view the issue and expiry date for the book issued and can even calculate the fine.
