INDIVIDUAL PLAN FOR PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT (IPPD)
• The
IPPD is a tool that serves as a guide for
teachers’ continuous learning and development
within a calendar year.
• Structured
in a way that every professional
teachers regularly and individually prepares,
implements, monitors, and updates the plan.
INDIVIDUAL PLAN FOR PROFESSIONAL
DEVELOPMENT (IPPD)
• Professionaldevelopment is:
Learning to earn or maintain professional
credentials (ex. academic degrees, attendance of
conferences, informal learning practices)
Intensive and collaborative, ideally incorporating
an evaluative stage.
SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL-RPMS
(SAT-RPMS)
• Comprises
self-assessment questionnaires within the
RPMS designed for Teachers and Master Teachers
• Canbe used as a starting point for informal purposes
of self-reflection to clarify performance expectations
and determine which competencies to focus on
• Guides
discussions about goal-setting and
professional development needs.
ELECTRONIC SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL
(E-SAT)
• An electronic version of the SAT for RPMS.
• It
is a self-assessment tool that helps teachers reflect on the
different objectives related to their professional work.
• The tool supports schools in analyzing school-wide SAT
data of teachers to help plan for teachers’ professional
development.
• Self-assessment
results will guide teachers on which
RPMS indicators they must improve and on what areas
they need coaching and mentoring.

Personnel Roles and Responsibilities
Teachers • Take the e-SAT and honestly answer it.
• Print e-SAT results and keep record of printout.
• Submit soft copy of e-SAT file to Dept. Head/ICT
Coordinator/School Head
• Prepare the IPCRF-Development Plan based on the e-SAT and
discuss it with the School Head to come up with a final
development plan.
School ICT Assist school head in the following:
Coordinators/ • Opening the e-SAT Survey file.
Department • Collecting the e-SAT Survey files of all teachers.
Heads • Generating summary results of teachers’ self-assessment.
• Submitting school-wide e-SAT data to the SDO.
HOW TO USE E-SAT
Reminders before using the e-SAT file:
1. Best opened in MS Office 2010 or newer.
2. Each teacher shall have one (1) e-SAT collection
file.
3. Do not type in fields with a dropdown button.
1. Extract the e-SAT file from the ZIP archive.
It is advisable to save the e-SAT file at the desktop so
one can easily access it.
2. Open the e-SAT file and enable macros when
prompted.
Accomplish participant consent data privacy form in
order to proceed by clicking “Agree”.
3. Accomplish the e-SAT form as required.
Shown: Part I: Demographic Profile
Note: for “Level Taught” and Grade Level Taught, answer
the Curricular Classification first.
Part II: Objectives.
Always read the objectives carefully.
Part III: Core Behavioral Competencies
Remember: Honesty is the Best Policy. Check
only which apply to you.
Once done, click save.
You can now review the summary of your assessment.
Make sure your device is connected to a printer during the
accomplishment of the e-SAT; print-outs shall not be filed by the
ICT coordinator or the department head, or submitted to the
principal. Use A4 paper.
Once done, click finish to protect your data.
Enter a password with which to protect your data.
(IMPORTANT: Remember your password!)
Once done, submit the file to your Department Head or
School Head for consolidation.
Viewing the accomplished and secured e-SAT
requires input of the password you created.
Before submission, rename your file using the template:
DepEd Prescribed e-SAT SY (hyphenated years)-level-Surname, First Name
