1.0 Roles & Responsibility of lifting team
2.0 Legal & Other Requirement
3.0 Basic Rigging & Slinging
3.1 Machinery
3.2 Lifting Gear

3.3 Type of Rigging

- Rebar
- Genset / Generator
- Plywood
- Aluminium formwork
- Scaffold Frame
- Brick
- Diesel Drum
- Steel plate
- I Beam
- Prefab Structure
- Concrete bucket
- Architecture material (Window frame, door, IBS panel, Roof Material, Water tank)
4.0 Determination of load characteristic
( Step by step approach)
4.1 Load shape (sharp edge load, loose material or not – brick/sand/cement,
circle, cylinder, with lifting eye or not – Genset, pump & etc.)
4.2 Volume of load include SWL (estimation, DO, Weighbridge ticket, Refer to
Engineer / PIC know about the load)
4.3 Centre of gravity- COG (basic can calculate / measure onsite, critical need
to refer engineer boshhhhh)
4.4 Selection of lifting gear (web sling, chain sling, wire rope, cargo net,
multiple ledge type, direct hitch, direct to the lifting eye, lifting platform for
loose material) – SWL of lifting gear (picture zoom to tag)
4.5 Inspection of selected lifting gear (Do & Don’t)
4.6 Lifting gear fitting assecories base on all criteria consideration above
4.7 Tagline (type tie, position tagline at load, Safe position 45 Degree from
load & distance to control load)
5.0 Communication and Signal
