STRATIGRAPHIC SUCCESSION :
SINGBHUM SHEAR ZONE:
This zone separates two Precambrian province of
Indian Shield :
1. Southern part : Older Iron Ore Orogeny
(Group) which stabilized around 2900 million year
ago
2. Northern part : Younger , Singbhum Orogeny
(Group) cycle closing at about 850 million year ago
