Circle – closed curve and whose points
are all equidistant from a fixed point
called the center. It is named by its
center. The symbol for circle is ⊙.

The name of
this circle is ⊙A

Radius/Radii – line segment from the
center to any point on the circle. It is
named using the letter of the center
and the point on the circle.
The radius is AB.

Chord – line segment joining two
points on the circle. It is named using
the two points on the circle.
D The chord is CD.

Diameter – is a chord that passes
through the center of the circle. It is
twice the length of a radius.
