Forget about
goals and try to
build
A lot of people focussystems
on the wrong things, they only
focus on the goal and not on the process it took to get
to that point, but this goal is about the long term. So
we have to focus on the little systems and habits that
we do every day.
Make it
obvious
You need to know what good habits you want
to strengthen. According to James, if we only
intend to exercise without deciding on a time
and place, it will be difficult to make it happen.
Therefore, you need to make it obvious.
Make it
attractive
The more interesting something is, the
more likely we are to adopt it as a habit.
Well, you can write down a row of
interesting things that can make you
start a new habit.
Make it
easy
As humans, we tend to be motivated to do
something easy. There's nothing wrong
with choosing the easiest part first to start
a new good habit. Later, the more difficult
parts will follow, once the easy parts have
been implemented and become a routine.
Make it
satisfying
To build a long-term habit, you have to make
a habit fun and satisfying so that you are
motivated to stick with it
Thank you!
