Comparisons
The CryptoServer LAN exists in two variants providing the same
functionality but having a different height. Both are a 19-inch
network appliance with display, control buttons and USB
interfaces on the front panel. They contain an industry-quality PC
motherboard, backplane with PCIe bus interface, flash disk (as
mass storage), two redundant power supplies and backup battery.
The PCIe security module is plugged into the PCIe bus interface
of the backplane. The CryptoServer LAN may be connected to an
Ethernet network via a Gigabit network interface on the backside.
