
A web-based shopping system is being developed for an
existing store. Delivering the online shopping application to
the Android platform is the project's goal.
This project aims to give clients of physical stores the
benefits of internet shopping. Using an Android mobile to
shop for goods online from any location is helpful. As a result,
the customer will receive his favourite store's online
purchasing and delivery services. Any store in the
neighbourhood or international brands with retail outlet
chains can use this approach.
If stores have a website through which customers can easily
purchase from anywhere, they won't continue to lose
customers to popular online retailers.

 INTRODUCTION

Buying products or services directly from a vendor
online in real time without the need of a middleman
service is known as online shopping. It is a type of
online trade. This project aims to give clients of physical
stores the benefits of internet shopping.Using an
android mobile to shop for goods online from any
location is helpful. As a result, the customer will receive
home delivery and online shopping services from his
preferred retailer.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The project's goal is to create an Android application
that allows users to make purchases from an existing
store. Such an application needs to have full web
support in order to be built. The main goal of the
project is to create a comprehensive and effective web
application that can offer an online shopping
experience. A web view-enabled Android application
can be used to implement the web application.
 PROJECT SCOPE

Any store in the neighbourhood or international brands
with retail outlet chains can use this approach. The
concept suggests a facility that can accept orders
around-the-clock and a home delivery service that can
satisfy clients.
 STUDY OF THE
SYSTEM

ADMIN :
The super user of this application is the administrator. This
admin page is only accessible to administrators. The shop's
owner might be admin. The administrator is in possession of all
user and product information.
USER :
To view the products in the system, a new user must register in
it by supplying necessary information. An administrator must
unblock a new user before accepting him.
 LOGIN :
A user must login with his user name and password to
the system after registration.

PLACE AN ORDER :
User can further proceed to place an order after
liking it.

VIEW PRODUCT :
After successfully logging in, the user can view the list of
products by clicking on their names. Users can view a
thorough product description that includes the product
name, details, image, and price.


The system has been carefully created, is error-free, and at
the same time is effective and takes less time. The goal of
this project was to create an android and a web application
for shopping online. Through this project, we were able to
learn a lot of useful information and skills related to
developing web pages using HTML and CSS, using
responsive templates, creating Android applications. The
system as a whole is protected. Additionally, the project
improved our knowledge of the software development life
cycle and project development phases. We gained
knowledge about how to test various project elements.
We feel quite proud of ourselves for having created an
application for this project.
Our project has a lot of room for development in the
future.
In the future, this system can be enhanced with a
number of features, such as giving moderators more
power over their own items. Add to cart option can
also be added to this website. wishlist can also be
added so that user can have a list of favourite product
for future. The system may maintain track of each
customer's purchasing history and provide
recommendations based on that history.
If time had not been a factor, we could have
incorporated these functionalities.
