Amer Fort
• Location: situated atop a hill in the town of Amer, which is about 11
kilometers from Jaipur,  Rajasthan.
• Who made it: Raja Man Singh I.
• Year: The construction of Fort began in 1592 and it was completed
in 1599.
• Significance: well-preserved example of Rajput architecture and design.
It is also a testament to the power and wealth of the Rajput rulers of
Rajasthan. Listed in UNESCO world heritage sites.
• Tourist attraction: Tourists can explore the fort's numerous courtyards,
gardens, palaces, and temples.
• Accommodation: Rajputana Haveli, Taj Amer Hotel, Trident Hotel
• Leisure or pleasure activities: elephant rides, cultural performances, and
light and sound shows in the evening.

Hawa Mahal
• Location: Badi Chaupad, Jaipur
• Who made it: Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The architect of the palace was
Lal Chand Ustad.
• Year: 1799
• Significance: The unique Rajput architecture and design that is characteristic
of Jaipur. The palace was built to allow the women of the royal household to
observe the city life and festivals without being seen themselves, due to the
strict purdah system of the time.
• Tourist attraction: It has unique honeycomb-like exterior, which is made up
of small windows called jharokhas. The palace is a great place to explore and
take photographs, and is surrounded by many other attractions, such as the
City Palace and Jantar Mantar.

• Significance: Most iconic symbols of Jaipur and is a prime example of
Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The palace complex houses many
museums, art galleries, and historical artifacts.
• Tourist attraction: It's known for its impressive architecture, beautiful
courtyards, and royal artifacts. Visitors can explore the various palaces,
gardens, and museums within the complex, such as the Mubarak
Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and Maharani's Palace.

Nahargarh Fort

by other rulers of the Kachwaha dynasty.
• Year: Began in 1734 and was completed several years later. 
• Significance: Important role in the defense of Jaipur during the 18th and 19th
centuries. The fort also offers stunning views of the city and the
surrounding landscape.
• Tourist attraction: Stunning views, impressive architecture, and historical
significance. Visitors can explore the various palaces, gardens, and temples within
the fort, and enjoy panoramic views of Jaipur from the top of the fort's walls.

the 18th century in India.

to measure time, track celestial bodies, and predict eclipses. Visitors can explore the
various instruments within the observatory, such as the Samrat Yantra, the Jai
Prakash, and the Ram Yantra. Listed in UNESCO world heritage sites.
