Floods in Jakarta were spreading on Monday morning October
10, 2022 as of 9 A.M as many as 68 neighborhood units were in
undated. According to report of the Jakarta, regional disaster
mitigation agency previously 53 RT were flooded, now 68 RT are
affected which equals to 0,223 percent of the total 470 RT in
Jakarta. Said the agency in a written statement on Monday
October 10,2022. The flood was caused by the overflow of the
Siliwangi River following heavy rain on Sunday afternoon. The
high-intensity rainfall increased the status of the kachalampa
dam to level one alert or dangerous. The status of floodgates in
the depot monitoring post was also increased to level 2 alert or
standby and the Manggarai floodgate gate was on level three.
