Ang damit na iyong dapat na isuot
ay huag ang masagwa't huag ang dukhang

Kailan~gang sumunod sa ugaling moda,
n~guni't huag lumampas n~g di tawanan ka,
at huag kang magsuot n~g hindi mo kaya:
ang mahal ay pan~git sa dukhang talaga.
Paka-in~gatan mo ang iyong pananamit.
n~g huag madun~gisan at n~g di mapunit;
mainam ang luma, kung buo,t malinis,
kay sa bagong wasak ó may duming bahid.
Limutin ang cotso, at magbotitos ka,
ang paa mo't binti upang huag makita:
babaying may puri di dapat magtinda
n~g dapat itago sa alin mang mata.
Botitos ay mura, bukod sa mainam,
at talagang dapat sa mahinhing asal;
cotso't sapatilya ay napakamahal,
sa may hiyang paa talagang di bagay.
Paka-in~gatan mo ang gawang magbihis,
ang samâ at buti'y dian masisilip;
diyan nahahayag ang tinagong bait,
diyan nababasa ang gawi at hilig.

from the “Dakilang Asal” by Aurelio Tolentino,
the II. Katungkulan sa Mga Magulang,
Maestro, Kapatid, Kamaganak at sa Lahat
ng Kapwa. The students will be divided into
five groups. Each group will be assign a
specific stanza from the excerpt.
They will choose on how they want to
express their interpretation maybe
through role playing, speech choir,
song composition, news reporting.
After their presentation, two
representative from the group will
answer the following questions below.
