WHAT IS
COLLOCATIONS?
In English, collocation is a
combination of two or more words
that form a term.

Actually, there are no specific rules about


collocation, just something that sounds
natural to a native English speaker. So we
can only memorize it.

Collocation is used in conversation or in


writing so that it doesn't sound stiff and
is actually natural.
FORM OF COLLOCATIONS:
ADVERB + ADJECIVE
An adverb is a word that can modify a
verb, an adjective, or another adverb.
Adjectives are words that are used to
describe or modify nouns or pronouns.
In these cases, the adverb will play
the role of enhancing the adjective.

THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT WAY TO IMPROVE YOUR VOCABULARY. IN THESE CASES, THE ADVERB
