The food industry in Ghana has seen a whooping success and there is no surprise that many entrepreneurs wish to enter into this
market. As a group we have decided to start a shawarma and drink restaurant. Shawarma business plan is a good idea especially
for beginners as it requires comparatively less capital and focuses on limited menu items.
SOURCE OF FUNDING
With regards to funding our main source of funding will be through personal contributions from group members. As each member
is entitled to contribute CEDIS 100.

Required capital to implement this business is CEDIS 1,000.

PROBLEM OUR BUSINESS IS SOLVING

Most of the food sold on campus are heavy food eg. Rice, banku, ampesi etc. and not everyone prefers
heavy food so providing affordable but delicious shawarma and drinks will be preferable, besides our
business idea will provide food for the evening students in particular who struggle to get food during
break and are sometimes left with the option of buying expensive pastries and drinks at the cafeteria.
OPERATION
We will pitch our business on campus to serve as our main location while taking orders online through
our WHATSAPP platform and delivering to customers (students and staffs) who can’t come to our
premises.
