Isaac Newton, in full Sir Isaac Newton,
born in January 4, 1643,at
Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. He died
in the 20th of March in 1727, at Kensington,
London, United Kingdom. He was an English
physicist and mathematician, who was the
culminating figure of the Scientific
Revolution of the 17th century.

Sir Isaac Newton worked in many areas of


mathematics and physics. He developed the
theories of gravitation in 1666 when he was
only 23 years old. In 1686, he presented his
three laws of motion in the “Principia
Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis.”
Newton’s Third Law of Motion (Action & Reaction)

His third law states that for every action (force) in nature there is an equal and
opposite reaction. If object A exerts a force on object B, object B also exerts an
equal and opposite force on object A. In other words, forces result from
interactions.
