Name – Akshay Gawali
Place Shajapur (M.P.)
Educational Background – till 7th Standard
Per Day Earning – approx. 500rs – 600rs
Per Day Profit – 250rs-300rs
No. of Family Member – 03
Akshay has a stall where he used to sell
momos. He is not satisfied with his
earnings as this is his only source of
earning and he has to look after his mother
and a younger brother who studies in 9th
standard. During pandemic they suffered a
lot as he had to shut down his stall and was
not having any source of income left.

CONCLUSION
Akshay Gawali a hard working man just like any
other vendor was suffering with a smile on his
face due to the pandemic. He was struggling to
earn a proper livelihood for his family and was
feeling helpless. But thanks to the Community
Work Through Entrepreneurship Development
(CWTED) project initiated by Dr. Sachin S.
Vernekar (Director, IMED, Pune), faculty
members, and our mentor Prof. Yogesh Gurav sir
that we were able to become a part of such a
revolution and were able to help Akshay improve
the quality of his life and his family by earning an
amount that he truly deserves.
