INTRODUCTION

About Coca Cola company


The Coca-Cola Company is a multinational corporation that produces and sells
non-alcoholic beverages, primarily carbonated soft drinks. It was founded in 1886
by John Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia, and incorporated in 1892. The company is
headquartered in Atlanta, and operates a franchised distribution system dating from
1889, where The Coca-Cola Company only produces syrup concentrate which is
then sold to various bottlers throughout the world who hold an exclusive territory.
About product
The formula for Coca-Cola is a closely guarded trade secret and is only known by a
small group of people within the company. The drink is made from a mixture of natural
ingredients, including carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup or sugar, caramel
colour, caffeine, phosphoric acid, and natural flavours, including the "secret" ingredient,
coca leaf extract. The coca extract is removed during the production process to remove
the alkaloids.
