Evaporation

Have you noticed that when you spill

water, it disappears after some time? It is
because that water has become into gas.
When a liquid changes into a gas, it is
because it evaporated.

Condensation

When the vapor in the air cools, it changes

into a liquid. When a gas changes into a
liquid, it condenses.

Melting

There is a special temperature for every

substance called the melting point. When
a solid reaches the temperature of its
melting point, it can become a liquid.
Solidification

● Solidification, also known as freezing,

is a phase change of matter that results
in the production of a solid. Generally,
this occurs when the temperature of
a liquid is lowered below its freezing
point.
Deposition

● It occurs when a gas becomes a solid

without going through the liquid state of
matter.
