COURSE DESCRIPTION

THIS COURSE BUILDS ON FITNESS TRAINING 1 COMPETENCIES WHICH FOCUSED ON THE


FUNDAMENTAL MOVEMENT PATTERNS AND CORE STABILIZATION. PERIODIC CONDUCT OF FITNESS
AND MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT AS DONE TO DETERMINE THE BASELINE LEVELS FOR GOAL SETTING
AND MONITORING PURPOSES. RESISTANCE TRAINING IS FOCUSED ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF
MUSCULOSKELETAL FITNESS (CORE STABILITY, MUSCLE STRENGTH, ENDURANCE, AND POWER)
THROUGH SOUND MOVEMENT PATTERNS AND PROPER LIFTING TECHNIQUES (FROM BODYWEIGHT
TO EXTERNAL LOAD).

COMBINATION AND BALANCE. THE COURSE EMPHASIZES EXERCISE PROGRESSION AND
REGRESSION FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF MOVEMENT COMPETENCY AND SKILL-RELATED
FITNESS COMPONENTS IN PREPARATION FOR MODERATE TO VIGOROUS PHYSICAL
ACTIVITIES.
