PRESENT TENSE

Present Tense
Now we learn about present tense. The present
tense has three different forms. Those forms
are present simple, present
continuous/progressive, and present perfect.
Each has its own characteristic. The most
important is the pattern of each present tense
must be remember for certain occasions.
Present Simple
Besides statement (+), present simple also
requires interrogative (?) and negative (-)
modes.

Example.
(+) I always study economics at campus.
(?) Do I always study economics at
campus?
(-) I do not always study economics at
campus.
Present Continuous
It is raining.
(?) Is it raining?
(-) It is not raining.
I am doing economics projects this week.
(?) Am I doing economics projects this week?
(-) I am not doing economics projects this
week.
She is studying to be an accountant.
Is she studying to be an accountant?
She is not studying to be an accountant.
Present Perfect
He has been a teacher since 2002.
Has he been a teacher since 2002?
He has not been a teacher since 2002.
Your English has improved since the last time we
met.
Has your English improved since the last
time we met?
Your English has not improved since the
last time we met.
