Entrepreneurial Traits
1. CREATIVITY

• Creativity is the ability to come up with new


ideas. It's about seeing the world in new ways and
finding new solutions to problems. For
entrepreneurs, this can mean anything from
developing a new product or service to finding a
more efficient way to do business.
2.FLEXIBILITY

• A firm's ability to respond to changes in its


environment both rapidly and at low cost.
3. OPTIMISM

• Optimism is More Than Positive Thinking


• Optimism helps entrepreneurs succeed because it
means they are more likely to invest, act, and put
effort into achieving what they want to get done.
4. SELF AWARENESS

• Self-awareness means knowing your strengths,


weaknesses, emotional triggers, motivations
and how you behave.
5. PERSISTENCE

• Entrepreneurial persistence is demonstrated by


an entrepreneur's continued positive
maintenance of entrepreneurial motivation and
constantly-renewed active engagement in a
new business venture despite counter forces or
enticing alternatives.
6. GOAL ORIENTATION

• a goal-oriented person or team works hard to


achieve good results in the tasks that they have
been given
VALUE ADDED

• Value-added is the additional features or economic


value that a company adds to its products and
services before offering them to customers. Adding
value to a product or service helps companies attract
more customers, which can boost revenue and
profits.
ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS

• Entrepreneurial intention (EI) is defined as “the


conscious state of mind that precedes action and
directs attention toward entrepreneurial behaviors
such as starting a new business and becoming an
entrepreneur”
• Entrepreneurial intentions are measured by asking
participants to rate their interest in starting/ owning
their own business on a 5-point Likert scale (1 =
definitely not interested, 5 =extremely interested). The
attachment provides the instrument and how it was
developed and used.
