• Discuss your opinions of different behaviors of two
cultures that you are familiar with. Write sentences
that contrast these behaviors using adverb clauses of
contrast, and then report your ideas to the class.
For example,
a. In Brazil, people are flexible about time.
b. In our opinion, it’s different in India. There, it’s very
important to be on time to meetings.
People are flexible about time in Brazil, while it’s
important to be on time in India.
