Some activities or
games need children
to work in group
How are the settings of learning corners promoted children’s early
learning
There are several types of games that can be applied in learning PERMATA.
Among the types of games are independent, manipulative, physical, language, sensory, cognitive, creative
and traditional games.
Playing stimulates children's imagination to become a more creative person who has many ideas.
The TadikaNational Curriculum has selected several strategies to be used when implementing learning
activities.
Among them are learning through play, learning through experience (learning with the 3E concept –
explore, experiment, and experience), practices that are appropriate for children's development (ABP),
and themed and project approaches.
Based on the layout design plan of our nursery's indoor and outdoor spaces, there are several areas of
children's holistic learning development that are placed into several corners.
We use specially designed rooms to be divided into role play corner, cognitive corner, manipulative corner,
reading corner or mini library, technology corner, spiritual corner and outdoor play area

3) Manipulative Angle Activities
· Children will improve their manipulative skills by involving the use of certain objects or tools.
Therefore, the limbs are the most frequently used limbs in this manipulative skill.
· The manipulative angle uses more physical and psycho motor development that aims to develop the
physical and psycho motor skills of children 0-4 years old to enable them to control their body parts more
effectively.
· Most of the aspects of physical development related to the physical growth of children have been covered
in the field of Child Care which explains about healthy nutrition, self-management training, exercise and
fitness, health and hygiene.
· Physical play is a daily activity carried out at TASKA either outside or inside the TASKA building.
· It involves physical movement that allows children to use energy and have the opportunity to improve gross
motor and fine motor skills, sensory coordination and contribute to the health and fitness of the child's body
4)Reading corner(mini library)
In the designed learning space plan, we provide a corner called 'Mini Library' where children can do
activities
Reading activity: -Children have the opportunity to explore printed materials, words, singing, rhythmic
language - Helping children use expressive and receptive language in communicating -children can also
choose their favorite books on the bookshelf and read them in a quiet atmosphere like in a library.
Preliminary writing activity: books or papers are given to children for them to write or redraw what they
read or what they see to ensure they master early literacy. This learning area aims to improve children's
language and communication skills.
5) Technology Corner
There is a space or learning room dedicated to technology in our design plan.
· This room is filled with televisions, speakers, computers or laptops, I-pad, as well as some technology tools that can
help children in teaching and learning.
· The use of this technology room should be set for a period or time.
· Through the Tadika National Curriculum, the country has also emphasized building a strong spiritual aspect in
children's souls so that they live as human beings of faith, guided towards goodness and clean, honest and trustworthy
practices.
· With an emphasis on the spiritual aspect, even for any religion, it is hoped that the Tadika National Curriculum can
produce human capital that is highly moral, productive, and dear to the nation and the country.
· Therefore, the Tadika National Curriculum places aspects of personality, social-emotional and spiritual development as
the main aspects of learning in children's education at Tadika7) Outdoor Play Space This outdoor activity of TASKA
involves the use of sensory development and understanding of the surrounding world.
· For a child's overall development, learning to use the senses is very important.
5) Technology Corner
• · In addition, children also need to be exposed to simple technology available at TASKA or in the community to help
children become literate in science and technology.
• · Next, outdoor activities use sensory games such as; a) Play Sand Children love to play with sand and water.
• · Sand and water play activities also bring children closer to nature because sand and water are natural elements found
in the children's environment.
• · The TadikaNegara curriculum focuses on the importance of playing with water and sand, because it not only gives fun to
children but also stabilizes their emotions.
• · Children also learn new words such as funnel, surface, float, sink and rise during water play activities.
• · Concepts about water: swirling, flowing, churning, splashing, overflowing, filling a container, changing color c) Nature
Walk (Exploring Nature) Nature walk is one of the effective learning methods because it gives children a direct experience
(first hand experience) which involves the use of the five senses namely sight, touch, taste, smell and hearing.
• · Children's involvement during the nature walk can foster their imagination and creativity as well as good observation .
D) How can the materials enhance the children
learning
As a kindergarten teacher at school should know how to make the children or students able gain new
knowledge and at the same time they can play and do some fun activities
Teaching learning material, can be used at outdoor or indoor to make classroom or school be more
comprehensive and effective.
Firstly, Using learning material such as educational video and audio can make learning at class be more
fun and affective.
Secondly, learning materials will help children improve their motor skills by do physical activities.
Lastly, learning material will help the children that have sensory problem.
Learning materials can increase learners' achievement and help them to learn something new with fun
activities at school.
E. For how long should the learning corner last?
• Learning corner is a special learning activity which strongly promotes independence and love
of learning.
• Philosophy of learning corners is based to teaching young children it gives children the
freedom to choose what to do and encourage socialized in learning.
• Corners in the classrooms accommodate many learning corners.
• Learning corner board give each child a menu of three learning corner to visit each afternoon.
• The children learn to read the board and follow its direction.
E. For how long should the learning corner last?
• Children will learn how to follow classroom rules , use their time helpful and respect the
learning space of others.
• Commonly that children visit three corners for around 30minutes each.
• Teachers are put on duty in three of the following such as English , Science , Chinese, Maths,
and Art corner to work closely with the children.
•
4.0 Conclusion
In conclusion, the Ministry of Education needs to plan an effective and suitable strategy for the children's teaching and learning sessions.
• Teachers should also always be aware of any improvement suggestions made so that they can provide the best for pre-school children's learning.
• Based on these studies, they prove various problems that exist in nurseries and immediate action needs to be taken to further improve the development of children in order to
produce excellent, brilliant and distinguished people.
• With the concept of '1 Malaysia, the people come first and achievement comes first', early childhood education needs to be emphasized so that the main goal of family and
community development to produce a creative and innovative generation is achieved.
• Through this study, there are several improvement suggestions that can be obtained to improve the existing strategies and activities in preschool.
• In addition, preschool teachers also need to cheer up the environment in preschool. And change the learning plan
• In addition, parents should always be aware of the development of their children.
• Complete Information Technology Facilities. Laptops can be used by preschool teachers to apply learning in information technology subjects to preschool children.
