replaces healthy liver tissue. It can lead to liver
failure and liver cancer.

•itchy skin
•bruising or bleeding
•Bloating of the abdomen
•jaundice, which is when a person’s skin and eyes
turn yellow

clear. But the following are known risk factors:
• genetic
• overweight or obesity
• high blood pressure
• type 2 diabetes
• metabolic syndrome, which is a group of
