Folk Dance
What is Folk Dance?
- a type of dance that is a vernacular, usually recreational,
expression of a past or present culture. The term folk dance was
accepted until the mid-20th century.
ARMS POSITIONS
1st Position
Encircle both arms in front of chest with the
finger tips about an inch apart.
2nd Position
Both arms raised sideward with a graceful curve.
3rd Position
Open raised sideward, the other arm overhead.
4th Position
One arm in a half circle in front, another arm
raised overhead.
5th Position
Both hands raised Overhead.
FEET POSITIONS
1st Position
